Western Force announces squad promotion and coaching updates

The Western Force has announced several roster and coaching updates ahead of upcoming Super Rugby campaigns. Scrum-half Luke Aiken has been promoted from the Academy to the senior squad for the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season. Aiken, 20, previously played for the Blues Under-20s and has prior experience with the Force in the 2025 Super Rugby AUS campaign.

In coaching news, former Wallabies scrum-half Nic White has joined the Western Force coaching staff for the 2026 Super Rugby AUS campaign. White will work alongside academy director Damian Steele, veteran fly-half Jono Lance, and Chris Heiberg. Coach Simon Cron noted that the tournament serves as a vital development opportunity for both players and staff.
