Western Greece equips Kato Achaia stadium with new high‑jump gear

The municipal stadium in Kato Achaia will receive a new high‑jump training mat and accompanying equipment after the Gymnastics Association of Dymi submitted a request. The purchase was announced during a meeting between the mayor, Grigoris Alexopoulos, and club representatives and is part of a broader upgrade of the venue’s track‑and‑field facilities.

The council also said the approach runway for the long‑jump pit will be completed soon, allowing the stadium to serve both high‑jump and long‑jump athletes more fully. In addition, the association donated four ceiling fans that have been installed in the indoor gymnasium to improve training conditions during hot weather.
