Western Greece to promote Olympian Land at major tourism expos

The Region of Western Greece is planning to participate in three major tourism exhibitions in November and December 2026 to promote the Olympian Land region. The initiative aims to showcase the unique characteristics of its three regional units and expand tourism activities throughout the entire year, rather than focusing solely on the summer season.

The promotional program includes the Marathon Expo in Athens (November 4–7), which will highlight sports and outdoor tourism such as hiking and mountain biking. This will be followed by the Philoxenia exhibition in Thessaloniki (November 13–15), focusing on the comprehensive presentation of the region's tourism products and networking with industry professionals. The schedule concludes with the Athens International Tourism Expo (December 11–13) at the Peristeri Expo Center, aimed at increasing the destination's international visibility and promoting local tourism services.
