Western Macedonia hosts Erasmus Days 2026 events

The Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Western Macedonia successfully concluded a series of events titled ‘Erasmus Days 2026’ as part of the pan-European celebration held from October 12 to 17, 2026.

During the events, Regional Director Despoina Papadopoulou emphasized the role of Erasmus+ projects in shaping a common European educational space through cooperation and the exchange of knowledge. One key event, ‘Erasmus 4pupils,’ took place at the Kouvendareio Municipal Library in Kozani, featuring 85 students from various schools across Western Macedonia.

Participants engaged in the ‘MyErasmus Story’ segment, where they shared personal experiences and reflections on how student mobility activities influenced their character and perspectives. The event also included a ‘QuizzyEU’ activity involving multiple educational institutions from Kozani, Ptolemaida, Kastoria, Siatista, Grevena, and Florina.
