Western Macedonia Trade Fair concludes in Kozani

The 34th Western Macedonia Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition has concluded in Kozani after a ten-year hiatus. The event saw participation from 110 businesses and attracted visitors from various regions, including Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

Nikos Lyssaridis, Vice Regional Governor for Entrepreneurship, noted that the exhibition met business expectations and facilitated new commercial agreements and partnerships. Despite high interest from both domestic and international companies, the number of exhibitors was limited by available infrastructure and equipment.

During the event, CluBE engaged with local authorities, producers, and students to discuss regional development. They also presented the #PRECIOUS European project, focusing on food waste prevention through the ‘ZERO WASTE’ initiative. Additionally, an event was held with the Municipality of Kozani to honor sponsors of the #ProLight project, which supported energy upgrades for worker housing in the Kozani ZEP.
