Western Sydney University launches new campus in India

New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has launched a Western Sydney University (WSU) campus in Delhi, India. The initiative is intended to strengthen educational ties and diplomatic connections between Australia and India.

Minns noted that the university's presence could support the Indian government's objective of achieving a 50 per cent higher education enrollment rate among young people by 2035. He emphasized that the campus would uphold the same values and principles as the institution's Australian operations, fostering direct relationships between educators and students.
