Western Sydney Wanderers prepare for A-League season opener and double-header

The Western Sydney Wanderers are set to begin their 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign with a high-stakes Sydney Derby against Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium. The fixture is noted for its intense regional rivalry and identity-driven competition.

Additionally, the Wanderers will host a double-header at CommBank Stadium on Saturday, October 24. The event features an A-League Women match between the Western Sydney Wanderers and Brisbane Roar, followed by an A-League Men match against Auckland FC. Organizers have advised fans to utilize public transport, as match tickets include travel, and noted potential traffic delays due to the concurrent Parramatta Lanes festival.
