Westfield Centro Oberhausen announces retail expansions and new stores

The Westfield Centro Oberhausen shopping mall is undergoing several retail changes and expansions ahead of its 30th anniversary in 2026. The 125,000 square meter facility is seeing both new store openings and significant footprint increases for existing retailers.

Ansons, a specialist in men's fashion, is set to open a 2,000 square meter store in October 2026, occupying space previously held by Wormland. Additionally, the brand Cfab (formerly known as Creamy Fabrics) has opened a new store on the ground floor focusing on shapewear and apparel.

The fashion chain New Yorker has expanded its presence at the mall, increasing its retail space from 900 to 3,000 square meters across two floors. Furthermore, toy retailer Smyths Toys is expected to open a large new location around November.
