Westfälisches Landestheater to host theater festival in Castrop-Rauxel

The Westfälisches Landestheater (WLT) is hosting a theater festival in Castrop-Rauxel on Sunday, September 6, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The free event offers visitors a look behind the scenes at the daily operations of the theater.

Activities include guided tours through workshops covering technical aspects, costumes, masks, and theater pedagogy. The festival also features family-oriented programming such as face painting, crafts, and a photo booth with theater costumes. Additionally, the theater will hold a sale of stage costumes from its inventory and present its upcoming 2026/27 season. The event will take place at the Stadthalle Castrop-Rauxel.
