Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie has expressed frustration following the team's defeat against Genoa, stating that the club's inconsistent performances are unacceptable. Speaking to media outlets, McKennie emphasized that tactical changes are not the primary issue, arguing instead that the team lacks the necessary fighting spirit and effort on the pitch.
McKennie noted that while tactics provide a framework, success in such matches depends on players running more, competing harder for one another, and showing greater sacrifice. He highlighted that Genoa performed better by demonstrating more intensity, a quality he believes Juventus must rediscover to return to winning ways consistently.
The midfielder also indicated that the team must now focus on recovery and analyzing their mistakes before their upcoming match against Napoli.
