Westside Cowboy releases debut album ‘It Goes On’

Manchester-based band Westside Cowboy has released their debut album, ‘It Goes On’. The record, produced by Loren Humphrey at Greenmount Studios, features eleven tracks that blend Americana with British post-punk and alternative rock, a style the band describes as ‘Britainicana’.

The album follows a series of successful singles including ‘Kick Stones (The Boys)’ and ‘Pin Up Boys’. Critics have noted the band’s energetic sound, drawing comparisons to influences such as The Velvet Underground, Pavement, and The La’s. The release coincides with a performance at the Green Man festival.

Band members James Bradbury, Paddy Murphy, Reuben Haycocks, and Aoife Anson O’Connell have expressed that the album was intended to be a sincere and concise reflection of youth, capturing themes of chaos, desperation, and hope.
