Wetteren hosts 21st Wetthra Derny Festival with 15,000 spectators

The 21st Wetthra Derny Festival in Wetteren drew an estimated 15,000 spectators for the cycling event. The start of the race was delayed by nearly an hour because French rider Paul Magnier experienced train delays.

Once the race commenced, the event featured prominent cyclists including Jasper Philipsen and Belgian champion Rune Herregodts. Despite the delay, the festival remains one of the largest cycling gatherings in the region.
