WEX President of Corporate Payments, Eric Frankovic, has highlighted that while launching embedded payments may appear straightforward, scaling them presents significant operational challenges. The primary difficulty lies not in the infrastructure's ability to process transactions, but in a business's capacity to manage the increasing complexity that accompanies growth.

Frankovic advises companies to define the strategic role of payments early in the process. Whether the goal is to increase customer retention, create new revenue streams, or simplify fragmented experiences, businesses must prepare for the introduction of diverse payment methods, multiple currencies, and various banking relationships.
