WGES Global Symposium 2026 begins in Athens

The WGES Global Symposium 2026 has commenced in Athens, held in collaboration with the School of Public Health at the University of West Attica. Taking place from October 6 to October 8, 2026, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the event serves as an international forum for leaders from Greece, the United States, and the global community.

The symposium focuses on several key areas of expertise, including public health, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, sustainable and healthy buildings, and geospatial technologies. Discussions also cover wildfire preparedness, energy innovation, sustainable agriculture, food systems, and the circular economy.

Designed as a networking and information-exchange hub, the symposium aims to connect experts directly with government officials, academics, business leaders, and students. The event was developed through the collective efforts of WGES Global and an organizing leadership team based in the United States.
