Węgierska Górka road reconstruction to receive EU funding

A planned reconstruction of county road No. 1435S in Węgierska Górka has been announced, supported by funding from the INTERREG Poland-Slovakia 2021–2027 program and the European Regional Development Fund.

The project is part of the "Żywiecko-Czadecki Road Corridor" initiative. The scope of work includes laying new asphalt, reconstructing sidewalks, upgrading the drainage system, and modernizing street lighting. To improve road safety, the investment also features new traffic organization measures and the construction of a new pedestrian crossing.

The technical documentation was prepared by the County Road Authority in Żywiec, with the funding application handled by the County Starosty's Development Department.
