What Lies Below signs with Solid State Records

Pennsylvania-based metalcore band What Lies Below has announced a new record deal with Solid State Records. The signing marks a new creative chapter for the group following the release of their album, ‘I Let It Consume Me’.

To coincide with the announcement, the band released a new single titled ‘Return to Nothing’, accompanied by an official music video. The track explores themes of escaping grief, isolation, and personal despair to find hope. Musically, the song incorporates atmospheric synthesizers alongside heavy guitar arrangements.

The band is currently active on tour. Following a leg in the UK, they are performing across Europe with dates in cities such as Berlin, Prague, and Munich. They are also scheduled to embark on a North American tour in November alongside Midwinter.
