WhatsApp Business rolls out username reservation and multi‑account support in Brazil

WhatsApp Business is adding two new features aimed at Brazilian small‑business users. The app will allow businesses to reserve a unique username, enabling customers to contact them without needing a phone number. This identifier can be shared in marketing materials and helps protect brand identity.

In a separate update, the Android version of WhatsApp Business now supports two separate accounts on a single device. The beta‑tested feature lets users add a second phone number, manage distinct contacts and messages, and switch between accounts within the app. It is currently limited to Android and to two accounts per device, with wider rollout expected in the coming weeks.
