WhatsApp introduces message scheduling and interface updates

WhatsApp is introducing a highly requested message scheduling feature, a tool previously available in Google Messages. This update allows users to write a message in advance and set a specific time for it to be sent, which is particularly useful for managing communications across different time zones or sending timely reminders and greetings.

Additionally, developers are working on interface updates for the Android version of the app. Testing in the beta version (2.26.41.11) suggests a redesigned chat bar. Proposed changes include moving the text field to the top of the bar, integrating the send button into the bar itself, and adjusting the placement of camera and attachment shortcuts to create a more modern look.
