WhatsApp introduces Meta One premium subscription plans

WhatsApp is testing a paid “Meta One” bundle that adds exclusive features to the messaging app. In the Android beta, two tiers are shown: Meta One Plus at about €6.99 per month offering WhatsApp Plus with special themes, ringtones and AI‑assisted image/video tools; and Meta One Premium at about €20.99 per month adding extended AI capacity and higher usage limits. A one‑month free trial is available.

A separate report notes a €2.49‑per‑month European price for a Meta One plan that bundles WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram services and provides 18 new theme colours, 14 custom icons, the ability to pin 20 chats, bulk chat‑setting changes, scheduled messages, and exclusive stickers and ringtones. The update also adds multi‑account support on iOS and a status‑archive feature, while standard messaging and end‑to‑end encryption remain free.
