WhatsApp introduces new features for business organization and group notifications

WhatsApp is testing new features designed to organize communications and enhance group interaction. To address the growing clutter caused by business accounts, Meta is testing a dedicated "Offers & Updates" tab. This feature aims to automatically move messages from large companies into a separate folder, keeping personal and group chats more visible on the main screen. Currently, this is being tested with WhatsApp Business partners, and messages may be moved after a specific time interval, such as 24 hours. Users will have the option to disable this setting.

Additionally, the platform is introducing new tools for group chats to compete with services like Telegram and Discord. A new "@all" command allows administrators of groups with more than 32 members to send notifications that reach every member, even those who have muted the chat. This is intended for urgent updates, though users can manually opt out of these specific notifications in their settings. Other updates include improvements to group message history and enhanced poll functionality.
