WhatsApp rolls out Plus subscription plan in Italy

Meta is preparing a bundled subscription service called Meta One, which will combine premium features across WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Meta AI. The package will include two tiers – Meta One Plus at €6.99 per month with expanded AI capabilities, and Meta One Premium at €20.99 per month offering higher AI credit limits and greater computing power.

In Italy, the WhatsApp Plus subscription has moved out of beta and is now being offered to all stable‑version users. Priced at €2.49 per month, the plan adds six extra features such as exclusive animated stickers, 18 theme colours, custom icons, the ability to pin up to 20 chats, bulk chat‑list settings and ten exclusive ringtones. Users can subscribe directly from the app’s Settings under the new “Subscriptions” menu.

The rollout is visible in version 2.26.22.75 of the Android app, with earlier beta exposure in May. While the Meta One bundles are still in development and not yet publicly released, the WhatsApp Plus plan is fully available to Italian users.
