WhatsApp tests support for three accounts on a single iPhone
WhatsApp is testing a new feature for iOS that would allow users to manage up to three separate accounts on a single device. This update, identified in beta version 26.37.10.15, aims to expand the current multi-account capability, which presently limits iPhone users to two profiles.
Each of the three accounts will remain entirely independent. This means that chat histories, notifications, privacy settings, media files, and backups will be kept separate for each profile. Users will be able to switch between accounts through the settings menu or an account selector, which will display the profile name, photo, and phone number, using a checkmark to indicate the active account.
The expansion is intended to provide more versatility for users who manage multiple phone numbers for personal, professional, or project-based purposes, potentially reducing the need for a second physical device or the use of WhatsApp Business as a workaround. While the feature has been spotted in beta testing, there is currently no confirmed official release date.
