WhatsApp to introduce messaging fees for businesses in Kazakhstan

WhatsApp is implementing a new pricing model for business accounts in Kazakhstan, effective October 1. This change specifically targets companies using the WhatsApp Business Platform (API), such as medium and large-scale enterprises that utilize automated messaging, bulk messages, chatbots, and CRM integrations.

Under the new policy, each business number will receive 1,000 free messages per month. Once this limit is exceeded, companies will be charged approximately 0.018 USD (about 8 tenge) per additional message.

The update will not affect individual users or small businesses that communicate with customers manually through the standard application. Meta has been gradually implementing similar message-based and conversation-based pricing models for the WhatsApp Business Platform in various other countries.
