Wheel of Fortune to debut ‘Fortune Frenzy’ rapid-fire game in Season 44

Wheel of Fortune is introducing a new rapid-fire segment called ‘Fortune Frenzy’ starting in Season 44. The new game will take place at the beginning of the show, allowing contestants the opportunity to win $1,000 for every puzzle they can solve in quick succession.

Host Ryan Seacrest noted that the addition aims to increase the amount of gameplay within the show's time constraints. He also suggested the fast-paced segment might help contestants manage their nerves and adrenaline before the main game begins. Co-host Vanna White emphasized the need for speed, stating there is ‘nothing else to think about but solve that puzzle.’

Season 44 is scheduled to premiere on September 14.
