Wheeler Yuta seeks AEW Tag Team titles with Daniel Garcia

Wheeler Yuta has expressed a desire to pursue the AEW World Tag Team Championships alongside teammate Daniel Garcia. In a recent interview with ‘The Wrestling Classic’, Yuta noted that the duo, both members of the Death Riders stable, share a strong natural chemistry and similar wrestling styles.

While Yuta has previously held the ROH Pure Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship, neither he nor Garcia has held tag team gold in AEW. The current champions, The Young Bucks, began their fourth reign at AEW All Out 2026.

The tag team division remains highly active, with The Young Bucks scheduled to defend their titles against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight of the Don Callis Family at the upcoming AEW WrestleDream 2026 event.
