WhistleStop BBQ Festival returns to Huntsville
The annual WhistleStop BBQ Festival is scheduled to return to Huntsville’s MidCity district on October 16-17. The event features a competition among dozens of pitmasters vying for prizes and honors through slow-smoked barbecue.
In addition to the food competition, the festival includes live musical performances from artists such as Travis Bowlin, Milltowne, and The Brooklines. Local vendors will be present, and visitors can participate in People’s Choice tastings for wings on Friday and pulled pork on Saturday.
Tickets are priced at $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. Children aged 12 and under receive free admission, and parking is available at no cost.
