White Claw and Defected Records launch 'Find Your People' social experiment in Ibiza

White Claw and Defected Records are launching a 24‑hour social experiment called “Find Your People” on National Friendship Day 2026. Ten UK residents aged 25 and over will be recruited through the community app Cliq, matched, and flown to Ibiza for a villa takeover and a night at the island’s Chinois club. The participants will be documented to see whether a shared love of house music and the Ibiza dancefloor can create lasting friendships.

The initiative is part of White Claw’s broader “friendship recession” campaign, which aims to forge 50,000 new friendships this summer. Defected Records, a long‑standing Ibiza‑based label, partners on the project, providing curators and DJs for the event. Applications are open from 30 July to 13 August 2026 via the White Claw website.
