White falcon sells for AED 1.5 million at ADIHEX
A rare white falcon, named the ‘Qarmousha Pure Ultra White’, sold for AED 1.5 million (approximately USD 408,000) during the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The sale, which occurred during the fifth auction round at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, represents the highest price recorded at this year’s 23rd edition of the event.
Bred by the Mark Moglich Falcon Farm in the United States, the bird weighs one kilogram and has a wingspan and length of 16.5 inches. Its unique white plumage and physical build attracted significant interest from international breeders and falconers.
This year’s ADIHEX features the largest lineup of sales in the exhibition’s history and has seen a 20 percent increase in participation from breeding and care farms compared to last year, with 55 farms now involved. The event is organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers Club under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
