Reports indicate that Harp, along with Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, is involved in managing Trump's Truth Social account, though Trump also publishes many posts himself, particularly outside of standard working hours. The White House has not provided specific details regarding the approval or review process for these posts.

Separately, the White House official X account faced criticism after posting a photo of the Presidential Walk of Fame that included a Snapchat ‘Dancing Hot Dog’ meme in the frame. The gallery, established by Trump in September 2025, has been a subject of controversy due to its descriptions of former presidents. For instance, Joe Biden is described on his plaque as ‘by far the worst president in American history,’ and Barack Obama is characterized as ‘one of the most divisive political figures in American history.’
