White House resumes immigration visa processing for Poland and Hungary

The White House has resumed the processing of immigration visa applications for citizens of Poland and Hungary. While this specific group is being prioritized, the United States is maintaining a temporary suspension on processing similar visas for several other regions globally.

The specific reasons for prioritizing Polish and Hungarian applicants have not been officially clarified. However, reports note the positive diplomatic relations between Donald Trump and Polish President Karol Nawrocki, as well as with former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
