Other officials identified as having left include Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson, Deputy National Security Adviser Andy Baker, Special Assistant Lea Bardon, Director of Cabinet Affairs Emily Underwood, and Director of Media Affairs Sonny Joy Nelson.

While staff turnover is common ahead of midterm elections, the current wave of departures is occurring alongside declining approval ratings and challenges regarding trade and foreign policy.
