White Mountains Insurance reports strong Q2 2026 growth
White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. reported strong second-quarter 2026 financial results, characterized by growth in book value and net income. As of June 30, 2026, the book value per share reached $2,258, representing a 4% increase from the previous quarter and a 3% increase year-to-date including dividends.
Net income attributable to common shareholders rose significantly to $199.5 million in Q2 2026, compared to $122.9 million in Q2 2025. Diluted earnings per share also saw a substantial increase, rising to $80.58 from $47.75 in the prior-year period.
