White Rock to host community laughter celebration

White Rock is set to host the White Rock Community Laughter Celebration at Memorial Park on September 27. The free public event serves as the conclusion to the 2026 North American Laughter Conference.

The celebration will feature music, laughter yoga exercises, singing, dancing, breathing exercises, and games. Organized by Lora Pesant of Adventure in Wellness in partnership with the local White Rock Laughter Yoga community, the event aims to promote joy and well-being through intentional laughter and play. The conference portion of the gathering is expected to bring together at least 60 laughter yoga professionals and enthusiasts.
