Whitefield farming property to be auctioned in New South Wales
The Whitefield property, a 259-hectare (640-acre) farming and grazing holding in the Cooks Myalls district of New South Wales, is scheduled for auction by Elders in Parkes on September 16.
Located northwest of Parkes and east of Trundle, the property features gently sloping country with rich loam soils that are approximately 85 per cent arable. The sale includes a 247-acre crop of Y94 canola, as well as lucerne and clovers that complement native pastures.
Infrastructure on the property includes two dams, a non-operational bore with a jet pump, operational sheep yards, two grain silos, and an uninhabitable homestead. Marketing agent Brian McAneney noted the property offers fertile soils and convenient access to local grain receival facilities. The neighboring property, Rockvale, will also be auctioned on the same day.
