Whitman County Man Arrested on Felony Charges After Alleged Domestic Violence in Pine City, Idaho

Police responded to a domestic dispute reported around 6 a.m. at a residence in Pine City, Idaho. Deputies say 49‑year‑old Lorin Carlon allegedly choked a woman multiple times and pointed a gun at her.

A search warrant uncovered several firearms, including altered shotguns. Carlon was arrested on suspicion of first‑degree assault and unlawful possession of firearms, both felonies. He is being held on a $50,000 surety bond (or $5,000 cash bail) and is scheduled for arraignment at Whitman County Superior Court.
