Whitney Lynn Expelled from Alaska Airlines Flight After Preaching
Whitney Lynn, a 40‑year‑old evangelical pastor and social‑media influencer, was removed from Alaska Airlines flight 708 on July 30 after she began preaching to fellow passengers during a delay. The flight was scheduled to travel from Orlando, Florida, to San Diego, California. Crew members said her conduct was unsettling other travelers and created a safety concern, and the airline announced she would be barred from future Alaska Airlines flights.
Lynn posted a series of Instagram videos recounting the incident, stating she plans to consult an attorney and continue preaching on airplanes. Alaska Airlines confirmed to USA Today that crew safety concerns prompted the removal and the travel ban.
