Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? contestant uses lifeline on first question

In a rare occurrence on the Vietnamese version of the game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’, a contestant was forced to use a lifeline on the very first question.

During the May 29, 2018, broadcast, contestant Lương Lê An faced a question regarding the location of Quán Sứ Pagoda in Hanoi. Uncertain between the Tây Hồ and Ba Đình districts, he utilized the ‘audience inquiry’ lifeline. While 52% of the studio audience correctly identified the answer as Hoàn Kiếm district, nearly half of the audience provided incorrect responses.

Mr. An eventually progressed through seven more questions before stopping at question eight, earning a total prize of 6 million VND.
