A World Health Organization (WHO) humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro, Ukraine, has been destroyed following a series of strikes. The facility held frontline medical supplies valued at approximately 500,000 dollars, which were intended to provide aid to an estimated 225,000 people.

According to WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Henri P. Kluge, the site was first hit on August 3, prompting efforts to relocate supplies. On August 7, a staff member and several drivers had just evacuated the site when a second strike hit, followed hours later by a third strike that completely destroyed the building. Before the final destruction, teams managed to move 130 of the approximately 300 pallets to another location. No casualties were reported during the strikes.

This incident is part of a broader pattern of attacks on Ukraine's healthcare infrastructure. WHO data indicates that since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, there have been 3,149 attacks on the health sector resulting in 240 deaths. The WHO global monitoring portal has specifically recorded 72 attacks on warehouses and 646 incidents affecting medical supplies.
