Whole Foods Market to Open New Store in Eatontown, New Jersey on July 29

Whole Foods Market will open its first store in the redeveloped Monmouth Mall, now called Monmouth Square, at 180 Route 35 in Eatontown, New Jersey. The 40,000‑square‑foot grocery will begin operations on Wednesday, July 29, at 8 a.m.

The grand opening includes promotions for the first 300 customers, who will receive a limited‑edition Eatontown tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon worth up to $100. Shoppers can also sample coffee from Paper Plane Coffee Company and pastries from Palazzone 160, an Italian bakery.

In partnership with local nonprofit NJ Rise, Whole Foods will donate a refrigerated van and food supplies to support community food‑distribution efforts. Other retailers joining the revamped Monmouth Square include Felice, Cava, Prince Street Pizza, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and Offshore Coffee Co.
