WHOOP and Samuel Ross unveil Project Terrain Layer 2

Human performance brand WHOOP has announced Layer 2 of PROJECT TERRAIN, the second installment of a long-term collaboration with British designer Samuel Ross MBE and his design studio, SR_A. This follows a sold-out debut collection released in March 2026.

While the initial collection focused on metropolitan and modern training environments, Layer 2 draws inspiration from the textures and dynamics of the natural world. The collection features a new system of WHOOP bands, Italian-made technical apparel, outerwear, and accessories designed to transition between urban and outdoor settings.

According to WHOOP Founder and CEO Will Ahmed, the partnership aims to create wearable technology that is both aesthetically pleasing and seamless. Samuel Ross, serving as Global Creative Director for the collaboration, noted that the collection is designed for intensity and resilience, utilizing technical fabrics and precision construction to adapt across various training zones.
