Whoopi Goldberg addresses delays for Sister Act 3

Whoopi Goldberg has expressed frustration regarding the prolonged delays in the production of ‘Sister Act 3’. Despite the project being announced by Disney in 2020 as a Disney+ release, it has faced several years of creative changes and scheduling setbacks.

Goldberg, who is 70 years old, remains committed to reprising her role as Deloris Van Cartier but noted her desire to complete the film before she gets any older. She highlighted the deep connection fans have maintained with the franchise since the original 1992 film and its 1993 sequel.

Producer Tyler Perry has also voiced annoyance at the lengthy process, noting that significant time has passed since initial discussions began. While Disney remains the studio behind the project, a definitive release date has yet to be established.
