Wicked in Concert tour announced for 2027

Universal Film and Universal Destinations & Experiences have announced ‘Wicked in Concert,’ a series of live-to-film events featuring screenings of the Wicked movies accompanied by a live studio orchestra. The concerts will feature Stephen Schwartz’s musical score and the underscore by John Powell performed live to the picture.

The tour is set to premiere at Radio City Music Hall on January 23, 2027, following a special preview in San Francisco on January 16. The collaboration includes Hurwitz Concerts, led by Oscar-winner Justin Hurwitz, which has previously produced concert tours for films such as La La Land and Whiplash.

Announced North American tour dates include stops in Chicago, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. While initial dates focus on Wicked: Part One, the tour website indicates that future performances will eventually include both Wicked films for a global tour.
