Wicked musical concludes American Theater Guild season in Kansas City

The production of the musical ‘Wicked’ at the Kansas City Music Hall served as a notable conclusion to the American Theater Guild’s 2025-2026 Broadway season. The performance, which opened in mid-August, features the backstory of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good.

The production is noted for its original set design, costuming, and script. The musical explores complex themes regarding morality, power, and perception, specifically how characters are categorized as ‘good’ or ‘evil’ by those in power.
