Wictor Petersson wins historic European bronze in shot put

Petersson secured his position on the podium during his fourth attempt with a throw of 20.86 meters. He improved his performance in his final attempt to 20.97 meters. The competition was dominated by Italian athletes, with Leonardo Fabbri taking the gold medal with a throw of 22.31 meters and Zane Weir earning the silver with 21.12 meters.
