Świdnica bus station shelters destroyed by vandals

Vandals have destroyed bus shelters at the transport hub on Kolejowa Street in Świdnica. The incident likely occurred in recent days or overnight, and the Municipal Guard has confirmed they are investigating the matter.

The vandalism follows ongoing concerns regarding a lack of lighting at the station. Residents and local reports had previously warned that the darkness posed a significant safety risk to passengers using early morning or late-night services, as well as to drivers navigating the maneuvering area. Despite previous warnings sent to the Świdnica City Hall regarding the lighting issues, the municipality had not provided a response to inquiries made during the summer months.
