Świdnica Museum to host brewing history conference

The Museum of Ancient Commerce in Świdnica will host the ‘1st Meeting of Brewing Historians and Brewers – Świdnica 2026’ on October 9-10. The scientific conference will feature speakers including historians, archaeologists, and brewers from Poland and the Czech Republic.

Participants will discuss the latest research regarding the history of brewing in Polish and Czech lands. The event aligns with the museum's plans to establish a ‘Brewing Museum in Świdnica’ within a historic malt house. The program includes academic presentations and opportunities to sample craft beers from both countries.
