Świdnik to host 13th Charity St. Nicholas Run

The 13th Charity St. Nicholas Run is scheduled for December 6 in Świdnik. Organized by the Biegający Świdnik Association in cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Center (MOK), the event features a 5 km run starting at 10:00 AM.

Proceeds from the run will support Maja Kotarska and Mikołaj Capała, two young individuals facing significant health challenges. Maja, 15, lives with Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome, scoliosis, and epilepsy, requiring ongoing rehabilitation and specialized equipment such as a chair lift to improve her mobility. Mikołaj, born in 2014, battles ARPKD, a rare and progressive genetic disease, following a history of kidney issues and a transplant. The funds raised will assist with their medical treatments, rehabilitation, and necessary specialized care.
