Widow of designer Martín Polanco attends as Jet Set Club collapse case resumes in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – The widow of designer Martín Polanco, one of the victims of the Jet Set Club roof collapse, appeared at the Palacio de Justicia de Ciudad Nueva as the hearing resumed on Monday. The proceedings focus on the case against Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, before the First Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, in connection with the collapse that killed 236 people and left more than 100 injured on April 8. The hearing is ongoing as prosecutors and defense continue arguments in the preliminary phase.
