Later, Patricia attends a Sunset Cocktail party where she feels unwelcome, is spilled on by a guest, and confronts accusations that she fabricated a story about a local serial killer, the Boogeyman. The party descends into chaos, prompting fire‑rescue units to converge on the scene.
