Widzew Łódź director discusses summer transfer strategy

Widzew Łódź director Łukasz Masłowski has commented on the club’s summer squad restructuring. While the club aimed to secure several players, some targets ultimately signed with Korona Kielce.

Masłowski noted that Korona Kielce was in a different position during the transfer window, possessing a more stable squad in terms of player numbers, wages, and sporting quality, which allowed them to make more decisive moves. While Widzew has struggled to find stability following significant changes—earning nine points in nine matches—Korona's new signings have integrated quickly into their team.
